Apply online, the link is given below: National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Guwahati, is an autonomous institute of national importance and the first national pharma institute in NE India set up by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India by an act of parliament, to impart high-quality education & research in the area of pharmaceutical sciences.
The Institute intents to fill the following Project positions in various sponsored projects through Online interviews.
Salary : (i) Rs. 31,000/- plus 16% HRA for scholars who are selected through (a) National eligibility tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through national level examinations conducted by central government Departments and their agencies and Institutions or, (ii) Rs. 25,000/- plus 16% HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above

Qualifications and Experience : Essential: Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Physics, Nanotechnology, or B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, Material Science, and Chemical Engineering.
The candidate having experience in biosensors, material development, and characterization will be given preference.

Qualifications and Experience : Essential: The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./ B.Pharm.) in Science from a Govt. recognized/ accredited University/ Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.
Or, The candidate must have a 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology from a Govt. recognized/ accredited University/ Institute with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates must have at least one subject of Chemistry in their coursework.
Desirable: Candidates with experience in chemical handling, educational institutes, and pharmaceutical industries will be given preference.
Max. Age limit: 50 years on the last date of application, with relaxation to SC/ST/OBC candidates, physically handicapped, and women applicants as Per Government of India norms.
Salary: Rs. 54,000/- + 16 % HRA (if applicable)

Qualifications and Experience : Essential: Ph. D in Medicinal Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Equivalent or having 3 years of research, teaching experience after post-graduation in M.Sc. / M.Pharm. in Medicinal Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry with minimum 60% marks and at least one research publication in SCI indexed Journal.
Desirable: Required to perform drug design, molecular modeling, and organic synthesis.
Candidates having additional experience with quantum chemistry and chemoinformatics software is preferable.
Good oral, written, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and in a team of scholars as per project requirements.

General Instructions
1. Candidates of Indian Nationality can only apply for these posts.
2. Interested candidates are invited to apply using the prescribed format only, available on the website from 08.11.2022 to 22.11.2022.

If at any stage during the recruitment and selection process, it is found that candidates have furnished false or wrong information, their candidature will be rejected.

7. Fulfillment of qualifications and experience is an essential requirement. As stated, the Institute is free to set the benchmark and call only the eligible candidates for the online interview. Further, NIPER Guwahati also reserves the right NOT to fill any of the posts advertised, in the event or exigency so decided.

9. In case any dispute arises on account of the interpretation of clauses in any version of this Advertisement other than English, the English version available on the NIPER-G Website shall prevail.
10. CANVASSING IN ANY FORM MAY LEAD TO THE CANCELLATION OF THE CANDIDATE.
11. All appointments shall be on the contract of one year or less if the project is terminated earlier.
The appointments are against the temporary project positions and will not continue in any circumstances beyond the duration of the said project.
Any subsequent contract in the project or another project will be a fresh appointment.
The appointment in the outside-funded project does not give project staff any claim whatsoever for appointment/regularization against any Institute post.
12. Age will be calculated as on the last date of application i.e. 22.11.2022.
13. List of the Shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the Institute website.
14. In the case of online interviews only, the link for the online interviews will be sent to the shortlisted candidates individually, a day before the interview.
