Position Details
- Position: Pharmacist (Quality Control)

Key Responsibilities
- Tender Preparation and Evaluation:
- Formulate tender documents for NABL accredited analytical laboratories in line with guidance from the general manager or manager (Quality Control).
- Oversee the assessment and finalization of laboratory bids.
- Communication Management:
- Manage correspondences with various stakeholders, including user departments, government bodies, vendors, and related organizations.
- Collaborate with the Food and Drug Administration for quality assurance of procured drugs.
- Sampling and Analysis:
- Collect drug samples for testing and analysis as per UPMSCL’s quality policy.
- Dispatch samples to empanelled laboratories for assessment.
- Quality Tracking:
- Maintain records of drugs and batches categorized as standard or substandard quality by empanelled laboratories.
- Document Management:
- Organize and update files related to drug Control activities.
- Additional Tasks:
- Undertake assignments assigned by Managing Director/General Manager (Quality Control), or Manager (Quality Control), UPMSCL.
Required Skills and Attitude
- In-depth understanding of Quality Control processes.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software.
Contract and Application Process
- Contract Type and Period: For open market candidates, the initial contract is for three years, extendable based on performance and subject to approval by UPMSCL competent authority.
- Probation Period: Two months from the date of joining.
- Compensation: Consolidated monthly payment (INR 47,600 to 50,000) with a 3% annual increment. Selected candidates with higher previous salaries may receive an increased offer, subject to maximum limit.
