Govt Job: Established in 1852, the Panvel Municipal Council stands as the pioneer municipal council in the country.

After witnessing rapid urbanization post-2000, it was officially upgraded to the Panvel Municipal Corporation in 2016.

This corporation holds the distinction of being the first in Raigad district, the ninth in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, and the twenty-seventh in the state of Maharashtra.

Encompassing 29 revenue villages of Panvel taluka, along with CIDCO colonies of Taloja, Kharghar, Kalamboli, Kamothe, and New Panvel, it covers an extensive area of 110 sq. km.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. A B.Pharm. degree from a government-recognized university is mandatory.
  2. Possession of a Registration Certificate from the Maharashtra Pharmacy Council is required, adhering to the Maharashtra Pharmacy Act 1948.
  3. A minimum of 2 years of work experience in the relevant discipline is essential.
  4. Proficiency in the Marathi language is a prerequisite.
  5. Age Limit: 18тАУ43 years (Reservations as per rules apply)

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through an Online Exam.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must be Indian Citizens and have resided in Maharashtra for at least 15 years or be born in Maharashtra with a domicile certificate.
  • A certificate of proficiency in MS-CIT, DOEEACC, or CCC is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Marathi (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential.

Examination Fee

  • Open Category: INR 800
  • Backward Category and Orphan Category: INR 700

In the event of discrepancies between the information provided in the application and the original documents, or if any suspicion arises during the inspection, it will be assumed that the information in the application is false.

Failure to submit documentary evidence related to the information in the application will result in candidate’s disqualification.

Claims regarding Age, Educational Qualification, Backward Class/Crimea Layer Certificate, handicap, Women, Ex-Servicemen, Orphans, Project Victims, Earthquake Victims, Part-time Employees, Sports persons, Experience Qualifications, and Disability must be clearly stated in the application. No changes can be made after submission.

Candidates previously registered with Employment and Self-Employment Guidance Centers, Seva Yojana Offices, Social Welfare, Tribal Development Project Officer, District Sainik Board, Disability Welfare Office, etc., must apply online separately. Candidates under parallel reservations, such as project-affected and part-time, must also submit separate online applications.

Candidates must possess the relevant educational qualification by the prescribed last date for application submission as per the advertisement.

Experience duration will be calculated up to the last date specified for application submission in accordance with the advertisement.
