Assistant Manager (Sales & Marketing)

  • Vacancies: 05

  • Maximum Age: 32 Years
  • Qualification: Graduation in any stream (PGDM/MBA in Sales/Marketing from reputed institutions or universities is a plus)
  • Experience: Minimum 04 years’ experience in sales or Marketing in the Pharma Sector. Preference is given to candidates with government sector experience.
  • Consolidated Pay: Rs. 40,000/month
  • Conveyance Allowance: Rs. 6,000/month
  • Telephone Allowance: Rs. 1,000/month

Job Description

  1. Coordinated Strategies: Oversee Sales & Marketing functions for PMBJP implementation.
  2. Image Enhancement: Ensure robust Sales & Marketing plans and communication programs to elevate the Organization’s market position.
  3. Application Management: Attract and evaluate applications for PMBJKs openings as per PMBJP criteria.
  4. Sales Optimization: Develop and implement strategies for maximum sales from Distributors/ Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras (PMBJKs).
  5. Stock Management: Monitor stock levels at Distributors/ PMBJKs using SAP and Head Office resources.
  6. Collection Targets: Set and achieve collection targets promptly.
  7. Awareness Programs: Organize programs to increase awareness about PMBJP and drive foot traffic to stores.
  8. Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by Management.
  • Contract Period: 03 years (renewable based on satisfactory performance).

Senior Marketing Officer (Sales & Marketing)

  • Experience: Minimum 02 years’ experience in Sales or Marketing in the Pharma Sector. Preference given to candidates with government sector experience.
  • Consolidated Pay: Rs. 30,000/month
  • Conveyance Allowance: Rs. 6,000/month
  • Telephone Allowance: Rs. 1,000/month

Job Description

  1. Mission Outreach: Lead efforts in promoting Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana and raising awareness for new PMBJKs.
  2. Networking and Collaboration: Engage with individuals, organizations, NGOs, and government bodies to establish new PMBJKs and increase footfall in existing stores.
  3. Sales Maximization: Develop and implement strategies for optimum sales from Distributors/ Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras (PMBJKs).
  4. Stock Monitoring: Keep a close eye on stock levels at Distributors/ PMBJKs using SAP and Head Office resources.
  5. Supply Chain Oversight: Ensure regular orders from Distributors/ PMBJKs and timely supply coordination with CWH.
  6. Community Engagement: Organize events to boost awareness about PMBJP and drive foot traffic to stores.
  7. Kendra Support: Provide comprehensive support to the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras.
  8. Media Coordination: Collaborate with the Media department to enhance PMBJP’s image and promote generic medicines awareness.
  9. Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Attend to daily matters assigned by competent authority.
  • Contract Period: 03 Years (renewable based on satisfactory performance).

  1. The appointments are contractual and do not lead to permanent positions.

  3. Government pharma sector experience is advantageous.
  4. Transfers may occur at PMBI’s discretion.
  5. PMBI reserves the right to reject the entire selection process/advertisement.
  6. Age/experience/qualification criteria may be relaxed in deserving cases.
  7. Terms & conditions may be revised during the contract.
  8. The contractual appointment will end on the expiry date.
  9. Full-time dedication is required.
  10. Posts may vary based on departmental needs.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of Initial Screening followed by a Personal Interview.

  • Initial Screening: Candidates must submit duly filled application forms with relevant documents. Suitable candidates will proceed to the next stage.
  • Personal Interview: Candidates with successful applications will undergo a personal interview. Based on performance, candidates will be shortlisted.
