Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) Haryana is now working hard to ensure the quality of hand Sanitizers / hand rub / hand cleansers and also ensuring that these should not be illegally manufactured without obtained mandatory manufacturing license.

FDA Haryana also working hard to ensure the price monitoring of hand Sanitizers / hand rub / hand cleansers and easy availability of these products to the public in the tough circumstances during lock down like situation in Covid-19 breakout.

Officers of FDA Haryana, yesterday on 01.06.2020 raided a factory, found manufacturing sanitizers without obtaining mandatory drug manufacturing license. Sunil Dahiya Drugs Control Officer (DCO) Kaithal, Haryana along with police party raided the premises of m/s mother health solution main bazar,Kaithal to investigate a secret information that illegal manufacturing in the brand name BEST TIME , mother heath solution.

No manufacturing license

At the time of raid Kishore Kumar Khuraniya prop of m/s mother health solution could not show the drug manufacturing license when demand. He told the team that he has not obtained license for manufacturing of said sanitizers. At his residence, which is behind the shop, huge quantity of hand sanitizer were found stocked.

During inspection he was found stocking finished goods containing various packing 500ml, 100ml, 200ml, 5L and 50L of sanitizer. 28 Drums of ethanol, glycerin and other raw material along with empty bottles pumps, caps, mixing machine and tanks were found stocked. A FIR under Drugs Act and other relevant sections of IPC and disaster management act is lodged.
