Food and Drugs Administration (FDA), Haryana team visited at Nidhi Enterprises, Kalka and investigated the matter of manufacturing of drugs without manufacturing license.
“A team of Sunil Chaudhary, Senior Drugs Control Officer, Ambala Zone, Ritu Mehla, Drugs Control Officer, Panchkula and Parveen Kumar, Drugs Control Officer, Ambala has been constitutes for the investigation the matter on the information received from FDA Chhatisgarh” said NK Ahooja, State Drugs Controller, Haryana.
After investigation at Nidhi Enterprises, a joint team of FDA Haryana and FDA Himachal Pardesh investigated the matter at Aadarsh Foils, Opp. Milestone Company, Barotiwala Road, Shivalik Nagar, Distt. Solan.
Apart from the Haryana FDA team Kamlesh Naik, Assitt. Drugs Controller, Baddi, Kushal Kumar Drugs Inspector, Baddi and Abhilash Kumar and also joined the team.

During the the joint investigation Brijesh Kumar Gaur owner of the firm admitted that the Foils of the following drugs were printed by his firm on against email order dated May 31, 2019 at 7:57AM email received from email id brijeshverma85@gmail.com from Mr. Brijesh Verma. Copy of the same printout is procured from his email id aadarshFoils87@gmail.com

He further disclosed that the said foils were recently printed & supplied to two sister concerns, Thakkar Pharma, Modern Complex Baddi & Glenmass Healthcare, Modern Complex, Baddi. Both the firms supplied the Cylinders & foils for printing the same for the said drugs.
“These brands belongs to some other manufacturing firm and brajesh was indulged in printing the foils for Thakkar Pharma and Glenmass Healthcare” said Sunil Chaudhary.
Then the joint team visited Thakkar Pharma, Modern Complex Baddi & Glenmass Healthcare, Modern Complex, Baddi, but both the premises were found locked & closed, even no signboard were displayed on the premises.
Owner of the firm was contacted on his mobile no. but he didn’t turn up, Officers of FDA, Himachal Pradesh sealed both the premises. “Nearby people told that the Glenmass Healthcare is involved in manufacturing of medicines but last two months they are operating the factory during night hour’s & no activity is observed during day time” told FDA Officer from Himachal Pardesh.
He said “No drugs Manufacturing License is issued in the name of Glenmass Healthcare at the said address”
