Plasma Therapy becoming success in Haryana. Govt of Haryana has established Four Plasma Banks at Gurugram Faridabad Rohtak Panchkula. Fifth Plasma Bank at Kalpna Chawla Medical College is ready to start operation.

Govt of Haryana also started a “Covid-19 Sangharsh Senani portal” and more than 350 recovered COVID-19 infected patients registered and shown willingness to Donate Plasma. One Recovered Patient can donate Plasma twice and two plasma units at one time means one recovered patient can donate four units of Plasma.

Narender Ahooja State Drugs Controller Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) Haryana informed that Govt has worked on war footing to establish Plasma Banks and citing the case of Panchkula Plasma Bank at Civil Hospital Sector 6 Panchkula. “Approval from Drugs Controller General of India within four days after making application and inspection.” he added.

Ahooja further told that Haryana has around 20 Twenty Blood Centers having approval and facility for Plasmapheresis. Single Donor Plasma for collection of Plasma from recovered COVID patients having sufficient Antibodies which can be used in Plasma Therapy for treatment of COVID patients.
