Jagannath Shinde from Maharashtra has been elected as president of All India Organization of Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD), while Rajiv Singhal from Madhya Pradesh has been elected as general secretary in tri-annual annual general meeting.
K K Selvan of Tamil Nadu was elected as the treasurer.
Vaijanath Jagushte , assisted by Shanmugam and Agarwala , was in charge as returning officer for AGM election.
“During the 60 days process of AGM/elections, AIOCD also completed zonal elections of its seven zones and declared seven vice presidents and six joint secretaries by holding zonal elections peacefully.

This year association had to hold election process on virtual mode as results were announced on December 31, 2020, due to pandemic situation,” stated AIOCD.
AIOCD is an apex body of pan India medicine dealers association, having all state chemists and distributors association affiliated to AIOCD, a largest organisation of traders having 8.50 lakhs aggregate membership.
