New Priority Allocation for Private Hospitals: In a significant change, the government announced that private hospitals will now have priority over organs from three of five cadavers in cases where retrieval takes place at a private hospital.
Government Priority for Organ Retrieval at Government Hospitals: If organ retrieval occurs at a government hospital, the government hospital will still receive priority for organs from three out of five cadavers, while private hospitals will be given priority for the remaining two cadavers.
