Himachal Pradesh: The Health and Family Welfare Minister Dhani Ram Shandil revealed in the Vidhan Sabha that a staggering 1,471 drug samples have been declared as not of standard quality (NSQ drugs) in the past two years, leading to legal action against six pharmaceutical firms.

The Minister Shandil presented area-wide details about the NSQ drugs, which are as follows:
- Solan: 1,190 samples
- Sirmaur: 302 samples

- Ongoing investigations into several cases.

Apart from this, the Himachal Pradesh government is also in the process of strengthening its workforce and infrastructure.
