Himachal Pradesh has taken a important step towards upgrading and strengthening its pharmaceutical industry in the state with the inauguration of its drug testing laboratory in Baddi, which is the first in the state.
This long-awaited project will provide a well desired platform for pharma industry in the state to perform mandatory drug testing.

A contract, worth Rs. 6 crore per annum, between the new drug testing laboratory and ITC Laboratory Panchkula will be executed to ensure the efficacy of the laboratory.
