The 71st Indian Pharmaceutical Congress, 2019 hosted by All India Drugs Control Officer’s Confederation (AIDCOC) will be held from December 20 to 22, 2019 at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (DU), Chennai with its theme “Health care system- Role of Regulators”.
More than 8000 delegates from both academics and industry are expected to participate in the event. About 350 – 400 exhibitors are expected across the globe.
The venue Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research, Porur, Chennai is one of the well-known established institute in heart of the city with more connectivity and hotels nearby. According to the organizers, this is one of the prestigious venues in Chennai city for the medical education. Since the theme is based on health care, this venue is opted for the conference.
Highlights of IPC 2019 include hands on training at pre-clinical services in animals; the CEO Conclave where in CEO’s from formulation industry, bulk drug manufacturers and medical devices throughout the country to discuss on latest trends and developments in pharma industry and Quiz Competition, which is organized through online for the first time in IPC.
With the vast growth in technology, IPC has kept its standards and made everything online this time. Registration to Abstract Submission, everything is an E-version for the first time in IPC.
The main workshops and conferences include: Skill Development Program on Animal Experimentation & Regulatory Toxicology, Presidential Symposium.
Apart from this there will be a Career Counseling and Placement Enclave and Bulk Drug Manufacturers Meet. There will also be a pavilion for China.
