Cosmetics worth approx Rs. 48 lac seized by Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) Haryana from Vanesa Cosmetics Pvt. Ltd. Sonepat, Haryana.

In compliance of the orders, a team of FDA Haryana Gurcharan Singh, Senior Drugs Control Officer (SDCO) and Sandeep Hooda, Drugs Control Officer (DCO) seized 306 cartoon of Denver body spary from the said manufacturing firm, situated at village Akbarpur Distt. Sonepat on 15-01-2020.

“The firm was found manufacturing Denver body spray brand without the required permission from the State Drugs Controller / Licensing Authority FDA Haryana. As per the Rules permission is mandatory for the manufacturing of the cosmetics products which is to be issued by the state licensing authority” told NK Ahooja, State Drugs Controller (SDC), Haryana.
“The firm was recently visited on 13-01-2020 by the team of FDA Haryana, Mammohan Taneja, Asstt. State Drugs Controller (ASDC) and Gurcharan Singh SDCO for a surprise check” NK Ahooja told.

The firm was found manufacturing the cosmetic Denver body spray without the required permission from the State Drugs Controller / Licensing Authority FDA Haryana. The team issued non-disposal order for the said product.
“306 cartoon of whole stock of finished product Denver body spray containing 22,000 pcs seized by the FDA Haryana team. The team also withdrawn two samples and the same have been sent for testing and analysis. Custody orders has also been obtained by Sandeep Hooda DCO for all the seized cosmetics” Manmohan Taneja ASDC told
