Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) Haryana is taking action against the people who took advantage of COVID-19 and engaged in selling intoxicants in Haryana.
Dinesh Rana, Drugs Control Officer (DCO) Nuh, FDA Haryana told “Stringent action is being taken against drug peddlers by FDA Haryana along with Police department”
“Three FIRs have been registered in various Police stations of distrct Nuh of Haryana under Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS Act) in the Month of June, 2020” he added.
On 07.06.2020 against Wajid of Nichalla Mohalla, Nagina, Distt.- Nuh. 125 Rexorid Cough Syrup 100 ml recovered from him and subsequently FIR has been registered at Police station Nagina, district Nuh, Haryana.

On 10.06.2020 against Radharaman of Koshi Kalan, Distt.- Mathura (UP) and Lakhan resident of Phalen, PS- Kosi, Distt.- Mathura from where 40 bottles of Welcyrex Cough Syrup 100 ml were seized and FIR has been registered at Police station Punahana, district Nuh, Haryana.
On 26.06.2020 against Mohd. Saad resident of Village- Rajpura, Distt.- Palwal at present residing at Tauru – Sohna Raod, Village- Shikarpur , Distt.- Nuh. 6800 Tablet Tredol-100mg and 19200 Tablet Prozolam-0.5 were recovered from his possession and FIR has been registered at Police station Tauru, district Nuh, Haryana.
