Sanjeev Garg joins as Joint Commissioner (Drugs) – State Drugs Controller (SDC) Food and Drugs Administration, (FDA) Punjab. Govt of Punjab promoted him after the retirement of Pradeep Mattu.
Garg completed his B. Pharmacy from KLE’s College of Pharmacy Belgaum, Karnataka. He was awarded Gold Medal being topper of Karnataka University Dharwad. He was also awarded G P Nair award by IDMA being topper of University.
He worked in Pharmaceutical Industry for 39 months as Asst Manufacturing Chemist. He was approved as Manufacturing Chemist by State Drugs Controller, Haryana. He completed his Master of Pharmacy from Punjabi University, Patiala in the year 1999.
He got selected as Drugs Inspector in state of Punjab by Punjab Public Service Commission in the year 1999. He joined as Drugs Inspector, Sangrur. He was Notified as Zonal Licensing Authority (Drugs) In year 2011. He was promoted as Assistant Drugs Controller In year 2015.
He has been promoted as Joint Commissioner (Drugs) – State Drugs Controller (SDC) Food and Drugs Administration, (FDA) Punjab on 01.12.2020.
