Zydus Cadila said today that its US subsidiary, Zydus Pharmaceuticals (USA) Inc., has obtained provisional permission from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to comercialise Eluxadoline Tablets in 75 mg and 100 mg dosages (US RLD: VIBERZI Tablets).
Irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhoea or IBS-D, is treated with Eluxadoline Tablets in adults.
The drug will be made at the group’s formulation manufacturing plant in Ahmedabad’s Special Economic Zone. Since the beginning of the filing procedure in FY 2003-04, the group has received 324 approvals and has submitted over 400 ANDAs.
