Mundra: B Medical Systems has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat to invest Rs. 100 crore in the manufacturing of medical and cold chain equipment aimed at supporting the Indian healthcare system.
This investment has been made as a part of the Investment Promotion Activity for Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2022
Speaking about the MoU signed with the Gujarat government to manufacture medical cold chain equipment , Jesal Doshi, CEO of B Medical Systems India Pvt Ltd, said, “Our facility and products will help India strengthen its medical cold chain infrastructure and promote excellent healthcare across the nation.”
We want to make India the vaccine cold chain capital of the world and offer the best medical cold chain equipment to hospitals, immunization programs, laboratories, hospitals and other clinical and research institutions, to store and transport all their thermosensitive biologicals.”.
B Medical Systems India Pvt Ltd had begun operations earlier this year to support the country’s immunization efforts.
It currently operates in Mumbai and is planning to inaugurate a state-of-the art manufacturing facility in Mundra, Gujarat.
