East Godavari, India – In a major crackdown on illicit drug activities, the Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a successful raid on a clandestine drug manufacturing unit in Ghantavari Palem, East Godavari district.

Three Arrested in Connection with Drug Manufacturing unit
The NCB apprehended three individuals in connection with the illegal drug manufacturing unit.
Among those arrested was P Balakrishna, a resident of Sanga Reddy district in Telangana, who is believed to have played a key role in setting up the manufacturing unit.
Additionally, Venkatesh, Sambhani, and Jagadeesh were detained for their involvement in providing technical assistance to the drug manufacturers.
Ongoing Investigation and Legal Action
The raid on the drug manufacturing unit marks a significant step in the NCB’s ongoing efforts to combat the illegal drug trade in India.
As the investigation continues, authorities are expected to gather further evidence and determine the extent of the operation’s network.
