India: 7th National Formulary of India (NFI) will be released on September 21, 2026
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India will unveil the 7th National Formulary of India (NFI).
Anupriya Patel, the Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilisers, will unveil the updated NFI on September 21, 2026.
The unveiling will occur during the 6th National Pharmacovigilance Week Campaign in New Delhi.
National Pharmacovigilance Week Campaign Details
The National Coordination Centre-Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (NCC-PvPI), based at the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission in Ghaziabad and a WHO Collaborating Centre for Pharmacovigilance, coordinates this campaign.
- Dates: September 17 to 23, 2026
- Theme: “Promoting Rational Use of Medicines through Pharmacovigilance: A Step Towards Safer Healthcare”
- Venue: Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi (Physical Mode on September 21, 2026)
The campaign is aligned with the “World Patient Safety Day” on September 17.
