The Department of Pharmaceuticals in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) will organise a conference on Indian Pharma and Indian Medical Devices 2020 at Gandhinagar, Gujarat from March 5-7, 2020.
This conference will provide a platform to global investment community to connect with stakeholders in pharma sector in India, officials of the central and state governments, leading business leaders and top executives from the industry, academics and experts from the world.
This is an initiative to increase overall growth of pharma sector including exports and focus on increase of domestic production in the sector by Government of India and FICCI, with the active participation from all stakeholders.
FICCI will also be organising conference on Indian Medical Devices 2020 on the same day.
The three day event would witness a conglomeration of policy makers, national and international leaders from medical technology industries, academic and research fraternity, along with a series of concurrent events such as CEO’s Forum with Minister, Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, international drug regulator’s meet and other knowledge sharing sessions.
The objective is to encourage and bring forward with best technology solutions and manufacturing. The conference offers a great platform and opportunity for industry to articulate issues and areas where Government’s intervention is desired.
The deliberations at the conference will help in paving a path for the transformation required in the Indian medical device ecosystem.
