Download the list of NSQ samples for September 2021: The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has declared 42 drug samples out of a total of 1227 drug samples tested as not of standard quality (NSQ) during the month of September, 2021.
Out of the 1227 samples tested during the month, 1184 samples came out with standard quality, while 42 samples declared as not of standard quality (NSQ) and one sample declared as misbranded.
None of the samples were identified as spurious during the month. The drug regulator comes out with the list of drugs, medical devices and cosmetics which are declared not of standard quality / spurious / adulterated or misbranded, every month.
During the month of August, 2021, the authority has tested 1245 samples, out of which 1207 samples were tested as of standard quality. The number of samples declared as not of standard quality were 37 and one as misbranded.
During the month of July, 2021, the authority has tested 1028 samples, out of which 983 samples were tested as of standard quality. The number of samples declared as not of standard quality were 44
During the month of June, 2021, the authority has tested 681 samples, out of which 642 samples were tested as of standard quality. The number of samples declared as not of standard quality were 39.
The test samples were drawn by the zonal and sub zonal offices of CDSCO, and tested in the drug testing laboratories in Kolkata, Mumbai, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.
