I. Pharma Park

The Uttar Pradesh government is setting the stage for a groundbreaking move in the pharmaceutical industry by planning to establish a pharma park in Lalitpur, Bundelkhand.

This ambitious project is set to cover a sprawling 1472 acres across five strategically identified villages.

II. Villages on the Horizon

The villages earmarked for this monumental project include Saidpur, Gadolikala, Largan, Karounda, and Rampur.

Each village contributes a specific acreage, creating a comprehensive landscape for the pharma park’s development.

III. Phased Unfolding

The project, steered by the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA), will unfold in two distinct phases.

The initial phase will focus on the immediate development of 300 acres, setting the groundwork for the park’s overall vision.

IV. UPSIDA’s Strategic Vision

Mayur Maheshwari, the CEO of UPSIDA, emphasized the significance of this venture, stating, “Under the able guidance of the honourable Chief Minister, the UPSIDA has come up with a comprehensive plan.”

He further elaborated on the ongoing process of inviting suitable surveyors, a crucial step in the project’s commencement.

V. Precision in Planning

The surveying process is expected to be cutting-edge, incorporating modern techniques such as digital total stations, DGPS, and drones.

Maheshwari highlighted the importance of precision in the survey process, ensuring an accurate and detailed map on a scale of 1:4000.

This map will be based on benchmarks established by the Great Trigonometric Survey of India.

VI. Soil Testing for Sustainability

In addition to mapping, the selected agency will conduct thorough soil testing using established procedures, including borehole drilling, sample collection, and comprehensive testing.

This meticulous approach aims to evaluate the availability and quality of resources within the designated area, a critical factor for the operationalization of pharma units.

VII. Ongoing Development Initiatives

Simultaneously, UPSIDA is expediting development projects at Site-1 and Site-2 in Orai, along with the Plastic City project in Dibiyapur.

The Plastic Park, spread across 274.4 acres, envisions a blend of industrial units, residential areas, and essential infrastructure.

VIII. Seeking Partnerships

As a proactive measure, UPSIDA is actively seeking agencies to provide layout guide maps, sectoral maps, and gantry signage boards.

This collaborative approach underscores the government’s commitment to creating a well-planned and efficiently executed pharma park.

IX. Economic Opportunities Unveiled

“As the survey progresses and development efforts gain momentum, the Pharma Park in Lalitpur is poised to become a key contributor to the pharma sector,” asserted Maheshwari.

This underscores the project’s potential in offering significant economic opportunities and solidifying Uttar Pradesh’s position on the industrial landscape.
