The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Post : Senior Research Fellow

Applications are invited on a plain paper for the following contractual posts in the ICMR funded project entitled “To evaluate the role of calorie restriction…………in vitro and in vivo studies” under Dr. Bihash Medhi, Professor, Department of Phormacolocv PGIMFR Chandigarh-160012. The posts are purely on contract basis for one year.

Qualification : First Class Master’s Degree in Pharmacology / Life – Sciences from recognized university (as per ICMR rules) along with 2 years of relevant research experience.

Desirable : Preference will be given to ICMR/GATE/NET qualified candidate, relevant experience in the field along with experience in experimental animal study.

Pay Scale : Rs.35000/- fixed per month plus HRA (as per norms)

The above appointment will be purely on contract basis for one year, likely to continue till the project is continued.
