The latest notification from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has notified that Dr. VG Somani will continue to hold the position of Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) for the next three months.
The notification from the health ministry read:
“In continuation to office order No.A.12025/1/2022-DRS-Part(3) dated 16.08.2022, the competent authority has concurred approval for Dr VG Somani to continue to hold the charge of the post of Drugs Controller of (India) under FR 49 (v) for a further period of three months w.e.f. 16.11.2022, or until further order, whichever is earlier.”
