The AIIMS, New Delhi model will be adopted and adapted. Unlike the Postgraduate Institutes which lack the basic departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology etc, the new AIIMS will have these departments as well as the superspecialty departments like neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, urology, endocrinology etc.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts to be filled purely on temporary basis at Centre for Community Medicine, AIIMS, Now Delhi for Project titled:
“Prevalence and causes of anemia among tribal women of reproductive age group (15-49 years) residing in district of Lahaul-Spiti, Himachal Pradesh, India
Post : Research Associate – One (1)
Age : Upto 40 years
Duration : One year

Salary : Rs. 59,690
Qualification : Ph.D / MD / MS / MDS or equivalent degree or M.S./ M.Pharma / ME / M. Tech having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after
Desirable : At least one research -publication in peer Science Citation Indexed (SCT) journal.
Nature of work
• Overall coordination of the project including day to day coordination with project team
• Supervision of data collection in the field
• Facilitation of transport and testing of samples.
• Organize sessions for networking and other meetings
• Prepare project report
