Position Available: Technical Officer

The NDTL extends an invitation to eligible Indian citizens to apply for the position of Technical Officer.

The selected candidates will receive a competitive compensation in the Scale of Pay Rs. 44900 – 142400/- (Pay Level-7).

These positions will be filled through deputation, which may include short-term contracts.

Eligibility Criteria:

For those applying through deputation (including short-term contract), candidates must meet the following criteria:

Holding an analogous post on a regular basis or possessing 5 years of regular service in the PML 6 (Rs. 35400 – 112400).
Possessing the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Chemical / Biological / Pharmaceutical Sciences in relevant fields from a UGC /AICTE recognized University / Institute, with at least one year of experience in Chemical and/or Bio-Chemical analysis, preferably in Drug testing; or
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/ Biological/ Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)/ Pharmaceutical Sciences in relevant fields from a UGC/AICTE recognized University/ Institute, with at least three years of experience in Chemical and/or Bio-Chemical analysis, preferably in Drug testing.
Desirable: Experience in quality management system as per ISO/IEC:17025 and quality assurance processes.

Pay Scale and Recruitment Method:

Classification Group: ‘B’
Scale of Pay: Rs. 44900-142400 [Pay Level 7 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC]
Method of recruitment: Deputation (Including Short Term Contract)

Application Process:

Candidates are required to follow these steps while applying:

Ensure that the application is forwarded through the Cadre Controlling Authority.
The Cadre Controlling Authorities must verify the correctness of the particulars provided by the applicants. They should also confirm that no disciplinary case is either pending or contemplated against the concerned officer.
Submit the following documents along with the application:
- Application in the prescribed format.
- Complete and up-to-date ACR/APAR for the last 5 years from 2018-19 onwards or attested photocopy thereof.
- Vigilance Certificate/Clearance.
- Integrity Certificate/Clearance.
- A Statement of major/minor penalties, if any, imposed upon the officer during the last 10 years.

The deadline for submission is within 45 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar.
