West Bengal Drug Control Administration (DCA) busted one unlicensed Hand Sanitizer factory at Arambagh, district Hooghly, West Bengal.

it is learnt that, this week, West Bengal DCA officers from Hooghly District Bibek Mohan Moitra, Senior Inspector of Drugs (SID), Samiran Mondal, Inspector of Drugs (ID) headed by Biswajit Mukherjee, ADDC with police assistance from Arambagh Police Station raided one unlicensed Hand Sanitizer Manufacturing Unit  at Hatbasantapur, Arambagh, Hooghly District,West Bengal.

A Huge quantity of Hand Sanitizer product, empty bottles, raw materials, packing material along with equipments / machineries used to manufcature these sanitizers worth Rs 8 lakh (approx) were seized by the DCA team.

Owner of the company Rajaram Ghosal could not produced any valid drug manufacturing license on demand. He was manufacturing these sanitizers without drug license and selling these to various parts of the state. He was taken into police custody.
