Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Hold a Post Graduate degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized Indian University.
  2. Possess a minimum of five years of experience in either drug manufacturing or testing from an approved laboratory or in the enforcement of provisions outlined in the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1956.

Age Criteria

As of January 1, 2023, candidates must meet the age requirements based on their respective categories:

  • Open Merit (OM): 40 years (Born after January 1, 1983; Not born after January 1, 2005)
  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 43 years (Born after January 1, 1980; Not born after January 1, 2005)
  • In-Service Candidate: 40 years (Born after January 1, 1983; Not born after January 1, 2005)

Domicile Requirement

Candidates applying for this position must be domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. A valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format is mandatory and must be obtained before the last date for online application submission.
