PANAJI: The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) hasn’t found misuse of prescription drugs after it brought about strict controls.
Compared to cases registered in the past against the misuse of ketamine, we have not found misuse, FDA director Jyoti Sardesai said.
“There is a special task force that conducts surprise checks with focus on habit forming drugs, which are likely to be misused,” she said, adding that the checks are carried out in coastal areas.
