Boosting Pharmaceutical Industry Standards
The government’s commitment to elevating the pharmaceutical sector was further underscored by Nadda’s update on the Revamped Pharmaceuticals Technology Upgradation Scheme (PTUAS).
Designed to align the Indian drug industry with global best practices, the scheme has garnered significant interest, with over 100 applications received since its launch in April 2024.

Notably, all seven approved applications are from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), demonstrating the government’s focus on supporting small businesses.
