ECHS has gained prominence, with 28 Regional Centres and 426 ECHS Polyclinics across the country.

It operates as an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD), in conjunction with other organizations like the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

Position: Pharmacist

ECHS is excited to announce the availability of positions for Medical, paramedical, and Non-Medical Staff on a contractual basis at ECHS Polyclinics in Palakkad, Salem, and Krishnagiri.

These positions offer a one-year contract, extendable for another year based on performance and other conditions. Read on for more information on the eligibility criteria and application process.

Position Details:

Number of Positions: Palakkad – 01, Salem – 01
Fixed Remuneration: Rs. 28,100/-
Minimum Qualification: B.Pharmacy from a recognized Institute OR
- 10+2 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from a recognized Board AND
- Approved diploma in Pharmacy from an Institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India
- Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948
- 03 years of work experience

Application Process:

Interested candidates are requested to submit their applications as per the format provided on the official website.
Applications, along with self-attested copies of educational qualifications and work experience, should be sent to OIC, Station Headquarters (ECHS Cell), Redfields, Coimbatore – 641018, by 15th September 2023 in duplicate.
Applications received after 15th September 2023 will not be considered.
Candidates will undergo a written or practical exam during the interview.

Interview Schedule:

Date, Time, and Venue: Candidates should reach ECHS Cell, Station Headquarters, Coimbatore – 641 018 by 8:30 AM on 26th and 27th September 2023.
Interviews will be conducted between 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Candidates must carry original certificates/mark sheets of 10th, 12th, graduation or postgraduation, diplomas or courses, work experience, discharge books, PPO, service records, and 02 passport-sized photographs.
Travel Allowance (TA) and Daily Allowance (DA) are not admissible.
Only candidates meeting the Qualitative Requirement are eligible to apply.

Age Limit:

Paramedical Staff: Maximum age of 58

General Instructions:

Only candidates meeting the eligibility criteria and shortlisted by the Board of Officers will be considered for an interview.
Interviews will commence at 10:00 AM on 26th and 27th September 2023 at ECHS Cell, Station Headquarters, Redfields, Coimbatore – 641 018.
Candidates should report with original certificates/documents at 8:30 AM.
Eligible candidates will receive interview notifications via email; no separate call letters will be sent.
