This is a unique opportunity to work on the project titled “Deciphering Chromatin-mediated mechanisms of transcription regulation in Apicomplexan Parasite Theileria annulata,” led by the esteemed Dr. Paresh Sharma.
The position is tenable for up to one year.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in this prestigious position should meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Possession of a Post Graduate Degree in life sciences OR a Graduate / Post Graduate degree in a professional course.
- M.V.Sc./M.Tech./MSc./M.Pharm Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Immunology with a first division.
- Minimum of two years of research experience, preferably as JRF (Eligibility criteria as per DST OM No.SR/S9/Z- 05/2019 dated 10.07.2020).
- Prior experience in molecular biology, gene cloning, protein purification, gene editing, microscopy, Flowcytometry analysis, and cell culture techniques will be advantageous.
Fellowship Details
Successful candidates with NET qualifications will be entitled to a monthly fellowship of Rs. 35,000/- along with 24% HRA PM as per the DST guidelines.
Non-NET candidates are also encouraged to apply and will be compensated according to their eligibility as per the DST guidelines.
Age Limit
Candidates should be under the age of 35. However, relaxations are admissible in accordance with government instructions.
