Opportunity for Junior Research Fellow

BITS Pilani extends an invitation to potential candidates for the role of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to contribute to a promising project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

This initiative will be spearheaded by Prof. Balaram Ghosh as the Principal Investigator, with Prof. Onkar Kulkarni serving as the Co-Principal Investigator.

Project Details

  • Project Title: Development of epigenetic modulators as therapeutics for cognitive deficit associated with psychosis using novel selective histone deacetylase-3 inhibitors.
  • Project Duration: 30 Months

Fellowship and Eligibility

  • Fellowship Amount: In accordance with ICMR norms, a monthly stipend of Rs. 31,000/-
  • Eligibility Requirements:
    • Candidates should possess an M.Pharm in Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry or an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry.
    • GPAT/NET/GATE qualification is preferable.
    • Candidates with practical experience in multi-step organic synthesis will be given preference.
