Ramgarh: Fake cosmetic factory exposed for illegally making fake cosmetic goods. The team of the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) raided and seized a huge quantity of fake cosmetics. Further action is being taken regarding this.
An illegal mini factory for making cosmetics was being operated by M/s Sharan Industries (M/s Sharan Industries) next to Koiri Tola Middle School Saudagar Mohalla of Ramgarh police station area.
On this information, the Ranchi Drug Control Department conducted raids by the teams of drug inspectors of Godda Ranjit Chaudhary, Ranchi Putli Billung, Hazaribagh Pratibha Jha, Ramgarh Virendra Swansea, along with the police force.
When three rooms were opened one by one, the team of inspectors was also stunned. There, packaging of vermilion, liquid bindi, glycerin, ubtan, and other cosmetic items was being manufactured without any license in the name of the Kasturi brand.
Although the operator is still absconding, the team of the Drug Control Department raiding the office including the factory is doing paperwork by confiscating a large quantity of illegal counterfeit cosmetic items.

Team member Pratibha Drug Inspector Hazaribagh told that the director of the pharmaceutical department had received secret information.
After which the entire information was investigated. After this, the whole team raided this mini factory and seized a huge quantity of fake cosmetic items from here.
She further said, “According to the information, the work of packing Multani mitti and vermilion was started by renting three rooms one by one next to Koiri Tola school from 2017.”
Soon, other cosmetics including sanitizer rose water, Multani mitti, ubtan, glycerin, vermilion, and liquid bindi started being made here.
From here, these fake products were supplied in the name of the company in different places in Jharkhand. During the raids in M/s Sharan Industries, earlier no one was coming forward.
