Unlike the Postgraduate Institutes which lack basic departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, etc, the new AIIMS will have these departments as well as the super specialty departments like neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, urology, endocrinology, etc.
Applications are invited in the prescribed form through online mode for filling up of following Group ‘A’ (Non-Faculty) ‘B’ & ‘C’ posts at the AIIMS, New Delhi/ NCI Jhajjar, Haryana as under:-
Post: Scientist-II
No of posts: 01 OBC
Pay Level in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix
Essential eligibility criteria :
Essential: Ph.D. Preference will be given to those possessing some experience in the line.
Name of Department / Centre: Anatomy
Subject in which Ph.D. is required: Genetics, Biotechnology, and experience and publication in Human Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Epigenetics Techniques
Age Limit for Direct Recruits: 45
Post: Scientist-II (CCRF)
No of posts : 04 (1UR, 1 EWS, 1 SC & 1ST)
Pay Level in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix
Essential eligibility criteria :
Essential: One year of research experience post- Ph. D in the field, (This is in addition to the experience of two years during the period of Ph.D.)
Name of Department / Centre: BSL-2/3 (1 ST & 1 EWS)
Subject in which Ph.D. is required : (1) Ph.D. in the area of biological / life sciences. Proven hands-on work experience in BSL-3 and/or BSL-4 laboratory for at least two years as related to the job profile (including a period of Ph.D.), supported by publications and work experience documentation.
Should have at least one First author/Joint first author/Corresponding author publication in a peer-reviewed journal indexed in Journal Citation Reports (as per Thomson Reuters – now Clarivate Analytics).
(2) Work experience- one year post – Ph.D. in the field. (This is in addition to Ph.D in the field experience of two years during the period of Ph.D.)
Name of Department / Centre: Facility Management (1 UR & 1 SC)
Subject in which Ph.D. is required : (1) Ph.D. in Clinical Research Management/ Healthcare Management/ Management.
Proven hands-on work experience for at least two years as related to the job profile (including a period of Ph.D.), supported by publications and work experience documentation in research management especially related to handling and managing research projects/ research facilities in the area of medical sciences.
Should have at least one First author/Joint first author/Corresponding author publication in a peer-reviewed journal indexed in Journal Citation Reports (as per Thomson Reuters – now Clarivate Analytics).
(2) Work experience – One-year experience post- Ph.D. in the field, (This is in addition to the experience of two years during the period of Ph.D.)
Age Limit for Direct Recruits: 45
Post: Scientist-I
No of posts : 3 (1-UR, 1-SC, 1- ST)
Pay Level in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix
Essential eligibility criteria :
Essential: MSc. 1st class in the relevant subject. Preference will be given to those possessing Ph.D

Obstt. & Gynae (1-UR): Zoology / Reproductive Biology/ Clinical Embryology/ Biotechnology/ Physiology/ Anatomy/ Microbiology/ Veterinary Sciences.
Pharmacology (1-SC): Pharmacology / Toxicology / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / M.Pharma (Pharmacology)
Lab. Oncology Dr. BRAIRCH (1-ST): Any branch of Life Sciences except Botany. Agriculture Anthropology and Oceanography
Age Limit for Direct Recruits: 45
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. The posts carry the usual allowance as admissible to the Central Government Servant of similar status stationed at Delhi/New Delhi.
2. The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their application only through ON-LINE mode.
The Online registration of applications is made available on the AIIMS website aiiimsexams.ac.in from 19.11.2022 to 19.12.2022 up to 5:00 P.M.
No documents including the Registration Slip of the online application form are required to be sent.
However, all the applicants should keep a copy of the registration slip with them, along with proof of payment for future reference.
3. The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the post applied for.
They must be fulfilling all the eligibility criteria as of the closing date of applications, failing which their application will be rejected. Required educational qualification/ experience should be completed on or before the last date of application.
In the case of educational qualification, the candidate should have completed the residency period for the desired educational qualification including an internship on or before the last date of submission of the application and should have been declared to have passed the examination on or before this date.
Likewise candidate must have completed the duration of desired experience on or before the cut-off date i.e last date of submission of the online application.
4. The applicants while applying in response to this advertisement for the posts mentioned at Sr. No. 1 to 9 are required to upload the following documents in PDF format where applicable in support of their applications:-
a) Proof of Date of Birth
b) Valid Caste certificate if applied under SC/ST/OBC/PWBD category (as per advertisement)
c) Valid EWS certificate if applied for EWS category (as per advertisement)
d) Certificate for Age relaxation, if applied for.
e) Degree / Master’s Degree
f) Experience Certificate
g) Ph.D. degree certificate indicating the department in which you have been registered at your institute/ university and the Title of the thesis, where applicable.
h) In case your Ph.D. degree does not mention all these, you must also upload the Ph.D. registration/admission letter/ any other certificate of the Institute / University indicating the Department of registration and Title of the Ph.D.
Even if the department is not mentioned, a document indicating the Title of the Ph.D. thesis is mandatory.
The above will be in addition to the Ph.D. degree certificate.
i) Abstract of the Ph.D. thesis format should be as follows:
• Introduction
• Aim & Objectives
• Methodology (especially in relation to the post applied for)
• Results
• Consultation
j) Documentary proof of post-PhD experience in the field/ post applied for with duration, where applicable, k) One publication relevant to the field/post you have applied for in a journal indexed in Journal Citation Reports (as per Thomson Reuters- now Clarivate Analytics) where you are the first authors/ joint first author/ corresponding author, where applicable.
5. The On-line Registration will be closed by 05:00 PM on 19.12.2022. The candidature of such applicants who fails to complete the online registration by the stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
6. In case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, he/she is required to fill in the form separately through online mode only.
7. The candidate must ensure that their photo, signature, and thumb impression are as per the Guidelines mentioned in the ‘Upload Image Instructions’ given in the General links and are clearly visible in the preview at the time of filling out the application in online mode.
If the photo/signature/thumb impression image is not as per instructions given in the ‘Upload Image Instructions’ in that case, the application will be rejected. So, be very careful while uploading your photo, signature, and thumb impression.
APPLICATION FEES :
1) General / OBC Candidates – Rs.3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only)
SC/ST Candidates / EWS – Rs.2400/- (Rupees Twenty-Four Hundred only)
Persons with Disabilities – Exempted
2) The candidate can pay the prescribed application fee through DEBIT CARD/CREDIT CARD/ NET BANKING. Transaction / Processing fee, if any, as applicable, will be payable to the bank by the candidate.
3) Application fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
4) Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected.
5) Application Fees of SC/ST candidates who appear in the Examination will be refunded after the declaration of results in due course of time.
