Opportunity for Research Associates (RA-III):

Research Associates: ICMR is calling for applications from eligible candidates for Non-Institutional project human resource positions.

These roles are on a temporary contract basis and are specifically allocated for the “National Task Force on Safe and Rational Use of Medicine (SRUM)”.

The initial engagement period is set at six months. The Walk-in-interviews will be held at ICMR Headquarters, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110029.

Application Process:

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications by hand on the date of Walk-in-interview between 9:00 A.M. and 10:30 A.M.

They must ensure that the application form is properly filled out and submitted with one set of photocopies of certificates, a recent photograph, and all original certificates for verification.

Qualification and Experience:

Essential Qualification: Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree, or a minimum of 3 years of research, teaching, design, and development experience after M.S./M.Pharma/ME/M.Tech, along with at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable Experience includes:

Statistical analysis of studies conducted.
Assisting in the coordination of various activities, including conducting meetings, preparing necessary documents, and conducting a literature review.
Experience with protocol and manuscript writing.
Assisting in the preparation of meeting minutes.

Emoluments and Age Limit:

Consolidated emoluments: ₹54,000/- + HRA
Maximum age limit: 40 years (Age relaxation as per Government of India ICMR rules)

General Terms and Conditions:

The number of positions may vary.
These positions are dedicated to temporary projects and will conclude with the project.
The engagement of advertised Project Human Resource Positions is contingent on fund availability, functional needs, and approval from the Competent Authority. The process may be modified, canceled, or withdrawn at any time.
Emolument rates are project-specific and subject to change based on funding agency sanction.
Age limit cutoff date is as of the last date for application submission.
Reserved category candidates must present valid Caste Validity Certificates. OBC candidates need a valid non-creamy layer certificate, while PWD candidates require a disability certificate with a minimum of 40% disability from a Government hospital.
Separate applications must be submitted for each position. The allocation of projects will be at the discretion of the competent authority.
Qualification and experience should be in the relevant discipline from a reputable institution.
Mere fulfillment of essential qualifications does not guarantee selection.
Those already in regular government service are ineligible to apply.
No TA/DA will be provided for interview/personal discussion.
ICMR reserves the right to consider or reject any application.
Providing false information will lead to disqualification.
Those engaged in Project Human Resource Positions cannot register for Ph.D. due to time constraints.
Posting may vary based on research needs.
No claim for a regular post or benefits will be granted to project human resource positions.
The maximum term for Project Human Resource Positions is five years.
ICMR may terminate positions at any time without reason.
Leave policies will adhere to the ICMR’s guidelines.
