Quality Assurance and Distribution
After production, the medicines are sent to the Jan Aushadhi central warehouse for quality assurance.
The warehouse anonymizes the manufacturer’s information and sends the medicines for retesting at NABL-accredited laboratories.
Once the medicines pass these tests, they are distributed to various regions of the country through the network of Jan Aushadhi Kendras.

The Jan Aushadhi scheme offers a significant cost-saving for patients, with prices ranging from 50% to 90% lower than branded medicines.
